2025 College Success Rate Leaders

2025 is a partial season for depth and direction: the play-by-play started recording where passes went in Week 9.

The share of dropbacks with positive EPA, meaning the play left the offense better off than before it. We use the same rule in both leagues so the numbers compare.

How to read it. Around 45% is average for a starter; 50% is excellent.

The 2025 leaders: Julian Sayin (62.1%), Fernando Mendoza (58.3%), Diego Pavia (56.8%).

Success Rate

Minimum to rank: 15 pass attempts per team game (the NCAA's minimum for passing efficiency). 120 players.
